Nobody knows what has kept her going. Her determination is on fire as she wipes sweat from her brow. She feels the cold heat burn her lungs. But to her, it isn't pain. To her, this is invigorating. This is what she lives for. The pounding of her heart in her chest, the strain on her legs as the hit the track. Left, right, left, right, left, right, and left again. The pattern that has motivated her since she was a little girl. If only I could know what that felt like.
