Japan

Good service is expected in Japan and tipping can sometimes be seen as rude.

2

Korea

Tipping isn't expected at all in Korea. Sometimes 10% might be tacked on to a hotel bill, but tipping in the American way isn't at all expected.

3

England

England tends to include gratuity in the bill. You may want to hand a good server a bit of cash if they did a great job, but other than that it is not really expected.

4

Switzerland

The Swiss actually include the gratuity in the bill by law. You aren't going to be tipping your waiter for Swiss cheese anytime soon.

5

Australia

Tipping has not historically been normal down under. Recently, that trend has changed a bit but not enough to take it off this list.

6

Denmark

Denmark actually pays their weight staff really well. They even get incredible benefits. No need to tip!

7

Brazil

Brazil actually does not require tipping. Some places might suggest it, but it is not required or expected.

8

Belgium

Belgium is much like Switzerland in its views on tipping. It is not required and actually is regulated by law.

9

New Zealand

Tipping isn't expected in the land of Lorde. However, service staff are not paid as well as in other tip-free countries. Maybe slip them a bill or two.

10

China

Nope! Not expected, but in some areas that deal with tourism it is appreciated.
