When he had the perfect response to Jess being a punk.

Okay, this may not make him "perfect," but there's no way this gif couldn't be on here.

When he all but literally became the heart eyes emoji.

When he was an amazing shoulder to cry on.

Also, this episode....total tearjerker. Every. Time.

When he decided to help Rory out.

When Lorelai's not around, Luke is awfully beneficial. Diner owners for the win.

When he made a huge gesture....but decided to be chill about it.

When he tried. Like really tried. And early Luke was not so great with the emotions.
