At first human beings only the materials provided by nature but later they began to follow other ideas. Humans tried to create something which nature didn’t provide. Humans invented new things used them for their purposes. The materials invented by the humans did not seem to be worthy of nature does. Polyester is a human-made material whereas nature provided cotton.
Polyester:
Polyester belongs to the ester family. Polyester is not completely an artificial fabric; it also consists of some natural chemicals. Polyester is used everywhere in the fabric world because it has several qualities like rigidity, flexibility, transparency, shining and heat-resistance. Natural polyesters can be degraded easily. This fabric is famous for the clothing materials. The material is so shiny which attracts the consumers. It is commonly used in the manufacture of furniture, decorative things, and clothes for genders, hats, blankets and also in bed and pillow covers. Nowadays polyester is used to make water bottles because of their transparency, and it is also added in wires. Polyester posses a shining quality of wood products like piano and guitar. Polyester in the liquefied state is used for automobile purposes.
Limitations:
·        Polyester is a synthetic fabric which means it cannot be degraded easily.
·        It causes skin allergies to sensitive skins
·        It sometimes causes breathing sickness too
·        If it was left with another fabric, there is a high probability that the color of the polyester will stick to the other fabric, and it cannot be removed easily
·        It melts at a high temperature which will cause serious problems if anyone tends to breathe it
·        Polyester can cause soil erosion in the mountains
Cotton:
Cotton is naturally found in sub-tropic regions. The plant named boll produces this soft, fluffy fabric. Being a natural fabric, it will not cause any breathing sickness or skin allergies, unlike human-made fabrics. It is said that cotton was first used at the time of cotton valley civilization. There are currently 2.5 billion tons of cotton used around the world. China is currently the world’s largest producer of cotton as it is one of the subtropical countries. There are four major types of cotton, and they are used all over the world for the commercial purpose. There are some cotton fabrics discovered in the caves of Mexico. This fabric is weightless and can be degraded easily.
Limitations:
It will not cause any serious allergies to the humans like artificial fabrics
·        Cotton is too expensive that normal people cannot buy it
·        It burns when exposed to high temperature
·        It will take time to get dry when it gets wet
·        It will lose its quality because of being a natural fabric
·        It shrinks when it is exposed to water
Conclusion
Nature is a gift of the ultimate power which cannot be compared to any artificial man made things. Hence, nature is to be preserved, and it is of no use to waste time inventing things to earn money.
