What Holiday Date Should You Go On With That Special Someone?

Throw on a holiday CD, get some to-go cups of hot chocolate, coffee or tea and take a ride around your city or town to find some of the best sites for some beautiful light displays. Many cities have articles of a few of the more impressive houses so do a tiny bit of research to reap the reward of a low cost but super enjoyable night out.

Whether you have pipes or not, caroling is all about the spirit in which you sing it. Grab a group of people or go just the two of you and try to spread some joy around whatever area you so choose. Bundle up in some holiday colors and throw on some comfy shoes for a night of Christmas joy and maybe end it back at home in front of a fireplace.

Okay so this may not sound super exciting, but there's some serious possibility here. Walk around with your loved one and check out all the amazing things out there - and maybe find some decorated windows as well. You can probably gain some ideas on what to get him or her for the holidays and maybe even turn it into some actual shopping to cross some Christmas gift buying off your list.

Sometimes the simplest of ideas can be the greatest. Whether there's an event, like a botanical garden that becomes a winter wonderland each year, or there's just a nearby park or a quaint neighborhood that attracts your attention, it has so much potential. Throw in a hot beverage (spiked if need be) and there's a glorious evening in the making.

Tis the season....for lots of baked goods. Get a jump on holiday cooking with some baking. Pour a glass of wine and pull up some recipes. Make the shopping for ingredients as much of the event as the baking itself and enjoy it as much as the cooking itself. Suck at baking? Place-and-bake cookies and the like are still always a viable option.

It's a classic and present in so many romantic comedies. Ice skating in the park is always a win, even if you aren't that great at it. That's why you link arms and try to figure it out together. If it truly isn't your cup of tea, try some other outdoor activities that require a little less athletic abilities, like sledding or a calm walk in the snow.
