They post and schedule new articles, set featured images for posts, and much more. This is a very important job - how will students get the most recent news if you don't upload any? So, what are you waiting for? Go and upload some articles!

Can't handle seeing spelling and grammar mistakes? Feel a dying urge to correct them? In that case, you are a copy editor! Copy editors' duties include editing, editing and... more editing! They will look over new submitted articles for objective mistakes of any kind. This is a very important role - you will be submitting the good copy to be posted on the website! A pressuring job... can you handle the heat?

A new social issue is hitting the news headlines. Do you immediately form a strong opinion in your head? Do you have ideas that support your opinions? In that case, you are a social issues editor! Social issues editors' duties include writing editorials - in other words, opinion pieces! They will openly express their opinions on social and political issues using their persuasive and logical way with words. Reading one of their articles will definitely have you thinking, so make sure to read until the very end!

Quickly, jot down these notes! You are a secretary! The secretary is a unique - but crucial - role in the Golden Falcon team. They write down notes on what is discussed in the meetings, mark down the member attendance, and much more! They always have something on their hands, and are good at multitasking. There is only one secretary, and they certainly are treasured! Without them, who would keep everything in check?

Wow! You are an editor-in-chief! The editor-in-chief role isn't given to just anybody and everybody. There are only two per year, and they are essentially the "leaders" of the team! They set up meetings, run meetings, send updates to members on a daily basis, post on the Golden Falcon social media, lead the other head editors, and much more! While all editor roles are important, the editor-in-chief role is vital to the newspaper... We don't even want to picture the Golden Falcon without them around!

Think, think, think! You are an associate editor! The associate editor comes up with great ideas for the newspaper all the time! They spend time brainstorming with the other editors and present their ideas during meetings. Ideas like these don't just come around easily (well, maybe for these critical thinkers they do)! Where would we be without their consistently great ideas popping up at every meeting? We have no idea!

Grab the camera - we can picture you as a photography editor! Photography editors take the best pictures for use on the Golden Falcon, whether it be on the photo stream or simply as a featured image on the newest article. These editors have phenomenal skills with a camera and an eye for art! With them around, the Golden Falcon can be as aesthetically pleasing as it is. Imagine a website without pictures - that's what the newspaper would look like without our photography editors!

We need viewers... but how do we get some? Fret not, we have our trusty promotional editors, and you are best suited as one! Promotional editors do as their name says - they promote! They create merchandise to be distributed to students, make school announcements, post to the official social medias, and more. With all this good content on our newspaper, it would be a shame if nobody saw it - and that is why this role is incredibly important for keeping the newspaper thriving, and the viewers rolling in!
