Elizabeth Bennet
"The things I wish I did differently were, to not misjudge Mr. Wickham as well as Mr. Darcy. My judgement was poor between the both of them, and not only did that cost me a marriage, but it costed me a lot of grief and confusion. By doing so I dutifully wronged both good gentlemen and I turned down a very promising marriage."
Mr. Darcy
"The things I wish I did differently were not judge Miss Elizabeth Bennet so harshly in the beginning. If I didn't say such things I would have gained a good companion in not only as a significant other but just a friend. She is incredibly bright and intelligent. Having an engaging conversation with her would be most delightful. However my reckless behavior and poor judgement led me to saying regretful things, therefore driving her from me."
Mr. Bennet
"If things were differently I wish I had not been so ignorant in the past. I would have found a wife that was intelligent so I could have meaningful conversations with. I also wished that in the past I was not so confident in having a son and spending all my money rather than saving it. Now that I have spent most of what I have, there is no longer enough to support me, my wife, and my daughters."
Jane Bennet
"If I was able to do things differently I would not have let Mr. Bingley get away so easily. I would have been by his side and persuaded him to stay rather than let him leave. I would have been able to stay with the man I loved rather than see him go because he was persuaded by his sisters."
