61 year old Debbie Peterson, who lives in Canada, was given a tragic diagnosis of terminal liver cancer.
Her doctors said she only had three to six months to live.
Debbie always wanted to spend one last Christmas with her family, but multiple bouts of cancer over the years has always prevented her from traveling to them
But Debbie's family had the perfect surprise hidden up their sleeves!
Christmas was coming, whether July liked it or not.

My sister has battled four cancers and two months ago they told her she was terminal and had three to six months to live, so mom figured that she'd do Christmas in July for her,"

They turned the backyard of their family home into a winter wonderland, complete with presents, decorations, a Nativity scene, and a Christmas tree!
Dozens of relatives and friends turned out to throw a Christmas party for the ages.
I was amazed, I was very surprised. I saw the Christmas trees and all the decorations and I thought what the hell is going on?!"

And Santa gave out presents to the nearly 100 people in attendance!
It was a very, very special day for Debbie and her family.
"So we're hoping this is a way of connecting her with everybody that can't get to [here], and just showing their support and everybody seeing how Deb is doing and how she's doing great."
