Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe didn't dress like a women in the 50's should, she wore dresses that in some ways were provocative and different style than normal dresses. She was more outgoing and daring in her outfits that really went against a 'normal' women dressing.

Marilyn Monroe wasn't your typical women that stayed home as a housewife. She instead worked which wasn't the right thing for women to consider, she became an actress in Hollywood. She was different than the women, she acted differently and wasn't seen as a 'normal' women.

In the 50's it was you got married, made kids and stayed in the house to care for everyone that was a women job/ life. Marilyn on the other hand didn't settle down she instead had many affairs and used men to gain popularity for herself. She lived her romance life very different than women were expected too.
