Saint-Étienne boss Christophe Galtier last night

Galtier was Alain Perrin's assistant during his spell in charge of the Blues in 2005. When Perrin was sacked in Novemeber that year, Galtier initially stayed on to assist caretaker boss Joe Jordan, before also departing when Harry Redknapp returned to the club.

He was appointed Saint-Étienne manager in December 2009, and last season guided them to Europa League qualification by finishing fifth in Ligue 1.
