Whether your older brother's one that sort of looked like you, or the one you sent away for from the back of LOADED magazine... a good fake ID was the holy grail.

A big, smart jacket to hide your teenage frame, preferably in a sober, bouncer-esque colour. Maybe borrowed from your dad.

For some reason, we all thought we looked older with hair that looked fresh out of the shower and crisped to a point.

Big groups of similar aged kids sneaking in at intervals so the doorman didn't clock that you were all together - you don't get in, rules of the jungle.
