Summary
This book is a story about a china rabbit that doesn't know how to love so when he is told a story about a princess who didn't know how to love he asks himself questions like did Pellegrina tell that story because I'm like that. So when Abilene's family goes on a cruise ship and Edward is thrown overboard. Edward goes from family to family and while that is happening each moment he's learning how to hold. In the end, something happens to Edward that makes him so happy.

Edward is a china bunny made for a ten-year-old girl named Abilene Tulane. Edward is the protagonist because he changes from the beginning of the story to the end. At first, Edward didn't know love and he didn't feel it, towards anyone. Then while he was on vacation with Abilene something happens to him. Then he goes to different families he goes to one family then something happens to him and then he goes to another family
Antagonist- Lots of people
There are a lot of antagonists there are the two boys named Martin and Amos who threw Edward off a boat. Then there is Lolly the daughter of the family he had who took Edward to a junkyard and left him there. Then there is a police who threw Edward off a train. A chef named Neal who broke Edward.
Static Character- pellegrina
Pellegrina is the grandmother of Abilene who is the reason why Edward was created. She's the static character of the book because at the beginning of the book she was a person who was very nice but was strict and cold and in the middle she comes up to Edward and gives him a cold-hearted stare. Then that's the last time that she is mentioned in the book.
