Tips on Play Station Repairs

The major problem with play station repair is to find the right audio technician. However the problems like blinking of red and blue light can be fixed by the user easily.

Every play station is prone to frequent hiccups. Though the audio technician of the leading companies try to deliver products without any issues, it is near to impossible to invent such a one!

Here we give you basic tips on play station repairs to learn it all by yourself.

Blinking of blue light

1.     This could be a technical problem
2.     This means the console is no longer functional.
3.     This is a serious problem
4.     Every time the play station boots, the LED indicator on the side first turns blue before turning to the constant white. When there is a technical problem it never turns white, but keep blinking with blue.
5.     On such occasions, the console does not send signals to the TV meaning it has not booted yet.
6.     This might be a software problem. The solutions are as follows

a.     Update the TV firmware – This will replenish the audio video signal. If your TV has internet connectivity then it is automated. Else try to fix the device compatibility by changing the settings. Use a manual to make it easier
b.     Check the ports
c.      Check the power supply
                                                             i.     Press the power supply continuously for 7 seconds till it beeps
                                                           ii.     Now disconnect the power chord
                                                         iii.     Check the chord for supply or damages
d.     Check the hard drive
                                                             i.     Remove the cover
                                                           ii.     Check for physical damages on the hard drive
                                                         iii.     Make sure it is properly seated. The problem arises when the hard drive gets dislocated from its socket.
e.      Reset the controller

Blinking of red light

1.     This happens rarely
2.     Sometimes after the red light blinking the system powers off after 3 beeps.
3.     This is due to overheating
4.     The possible solutions are as follows
a.     Give the console a rest. Press the power button for 7 continuous seconds.
b.     Disconnect the power supply completely
c.      Now let it rest for more than an hour. You can use fans to quicken the process.
d.     However do not use air coolers as they spray droplets of water.

5.     When you come across this problem for the first time, make sure to place it in a spacious room when in use. It should have enough breathing space around it. Also, keeping the console vertically will help to reduce the overheating.
The other major problems are
1.     Damaged ports
2.     Damaged cables
3.     Disc auto ejects
4.     Network problems
