In a particularly theatrical piece of action in the political theater, West Virginia Governor Jim Justice went above and beyond to spectacularly veto a budget proposal passed by the state's Republican legislature. Speaking of the bill, he pulled lids off of three covered trays saying that they weren't merely looking at an empty burger or a mayonnaise sandwich but an actual pile of bullshit, heaped on top of the budget documents.
What we have is nothing more than a bunch of political bull you-know-what. And for that very reason, I’m signing my veto on the budget bill.

The budget proposal would have cut funding for state colleges and universities as well as Medicaid and would have spent $90 million from the state budget's rainy day fund to close a projected budget deficit. Governor Justice's proposed revisions include decreasing cuts to education and medicaid and increasing sales and gasoline taxes. Justice also tweeted out this video of his announcement:
