Zumba

Zumba

You should take a Zumba class, where the motto is, "Ditch the Workout, Join the Party." This unique workout was created in the 1990s, and currently is done by 15 million people every week around the world. In a Zumba class, you would get your exercise with dance and aerobics. The choreography incorporates 6 different types of dancing--hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, and mambo--as well as squats and lunges.

The great thing about Zumba is that there are nine different levels of age and exertion, so beginners are not overwhelmed. You would have such a great time following the instructor and dancing to all different styles of music that you would not even realize you had been working out until you are exhausted at the end of the hour!

Barry's Bootcamp

Barry's Bootcamp

You should go to Barry's Bootcamp, known as "The Best Workout in the World." Barry's is a gym, with locations from Hollywood to Norway. that is intense and fun at the same time. Each session is an hour long cardio and strength workout that can help burn 1,000 calories and targets a specific set of muscles every day. It has a nightclub atmosphere with pump-up music and motivational trainers, and even has Saturday night classes with a DJ, glow sticks, and shots of juice. This is definitely the class for you because you want an intense workout but also love to have fun!

Bikram Hot Yoga

Bikram Hot Yoga

Bikram Yoga came to the United States from India in the early 70s, but hot yoga has blown up in recent years. This type of yoga consists of sequences of 26 different postures executed in an 105 degree room, to replicate India's heat. The intense heat makes you more flexible and flushes away your body's toxins as you sweat. This type of workout is perfect for you because it works out your entire body in a low-pressure, quiet, and relaxed environment.

SoulCycle

SoulCycle

SoulCycle, located in New York, California, Connecticut, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Washington D.C., Florida, Chicago, and Maryland, is an indoor cycling studio that is designed to improve your body and your life. Each 45-minute class consists of cardio on the indoor bike, a full-body workout using hand weights, and choreography to work your core. They use inspirational instructors, candles, and special playlists to clear your head and make you feel emotional and empowered. This is the perfect workout for you because it is great for your mind and body.

FlyBarre

FlyBarre

FlyBarre uses resistance bands, balls, small weights, and a ballet barre to workout your entire body. They pride themselves on their choreographed intervals designed to keep you energized, get your heart pumping, and lengthen, tone, and sculpt your body, as well as their great playlists. This class is great for beginners because you do not need to be able to lift heavy weights. They focus on high repetitions at low weights, and their instructors will push you to keep going longer than you thought you could.
