When did you decide to apply for Married at First Sight and how did you get to making that decision?

Kay-Leigh

Kay-Leigh say

I was fascinated by the concept after watching the US and Australia versions. I joked with my mom saying that I'd enter if there was a local one and she actually sent me the application form a week or two later. I didn't complete it until sometime after receiving it and the rest is history!

What’s it like to skip to marriage?

Kay-Leigh

Kay-Leigh say

I think you take the dating period for granted. I know singletons always say that dating is exhausting but it gives you the opportunity to ease into things. You get to dip your toe into the water whereas marriage is one big bomb drop!

What would you have done differently, if anything?

Kay-Leigh

Kay-Leigh say

I don't think I would have done anything differently. Of course you think of situations that could have been dealt with a particular way after the fact, but that's part of any relationship and if you can learn and grow from it than it has served its purpose.

What’s your personal definition of love?

Kay-Leigh

Kay-Leigh say

What love means to me… it's about taking a risk on someone because your heart says so. It's constantly deciding to chose one person no matter what. When the butterflies fade and the sparkle dims, you're still exactly where you want to be with the person you'd risk it all for.
