53 points vs. Memphis, Houstonx2 (3 times)

While many players would consider a 53 points game the crowning acheviment in their career, Kobe casually dropped 53 points three seperate times in his career. Once against the Memphis Grizzles in 2008 and two seperate times torching the Houston Rockets in 2006 and 2007.

55 points vs Washington (March 28, 2003)

Kobe vs MJ was always a spectacle to watch, but Kobe put on a show in his last game vs the greatest of all time. While dropping 55 points on an old Michael Jordan, many viewed this game as a passing of the torch from the greatest shooting guard ever to the next best thing.

56 points vs Memphis (January 14, 2002)

Any time a player scores 56 points, its a noteworthy game. The difference between every other player and Kobe Bryant however is that Kobe scored 56 IN ONLY 3 QUARTERS. With the Lakers demolishing the Grizzeles after the 3rd, coach Phil Jackson decided to pull Kobe for the final quarter. An understandable decision, but it will always make us wonder how much he could've scored.

58 vs Charlotte (December 29, 2006)

To say a 58 point game is unremarkable in a players career would be rediculous if it was anyone else aside from Kobe. The Black Mamba scored 58 points in an overtime loss to a not very good Charlotte Bobcats team. Impressive, of course. Memorable compared to his other accomplishments, not at all.

60 points vs Utah Final game (April 13, 2016)

Kobe retired the only way he knew how, by scoring as many points as he possibly could. In the final game of his storied career, Kobe managed to fight through the fatigue by scoring clutch shot after clutch shot, ultimatly ending with the storybook number of 60. This is the type of game you watch and say, "No one else but Kobe".

60 points vs Memphis (March 22, 2007)

In another Lakers win, Kobe somehow managed to score at least 50 points for the 3rd game in a row. The rediculousness of the sentence I just wrote makes me laugh. Obviously 50 wasn't enough for Kobe though so he had to go ahead and drop 60 for good measure.

7

61 vs New York (February 2, 2009)

Walking into the most famos arena in the world, Kobe decided to make a statement. He dropped a cool 61 points on the New York Knicks and broke the record for the most points scored at MSG (Madison Square Garden) in the process.

8

62 vs Dallas (December 20, 2005)

The most notable thing about this game is that at the end of the 3rd quarter when Phil Jackson decided to put Kobe on the bench, he had 62 points while THE ENTIRE DALLAS MAVERICKS TEAM HAD 61. Yes, you read that correctly, Kobe outscored the entire opposing team through 3 quarters. As rediculous a Kobe moment as any.

9

65 vs Portland (March 16, 2007)

This was the type of game where the Lakers needed ever bit of Kobe's 65 to get a W. Not only did Kobe hit a game tying 3 near the end of regulation to force overtime, he went on to score 9 points in that overtime and pull the Lakers to victory.

10

81 points vs Toronto (January 22, 2006)

There isn't much to say about this game that hasn't already been said. The second highest individual scoring total in NBA history. Arguably the most impressive feat in the modern NBA. It's very possible there isn't a single other human being on the planet who is capable of doing what Kobe did that night.
