Data by Provident shows exactly how many months it takes Brit’s to reach certain relationship milestones.
One of the first things couple’s do when they are in love, is introduce their other half to their friends, while it takes almost three months for women to go completely bare faced.

Experts view
Yvonne Filler, relationship expert at The Affair Clinic, said: “We would always caveat any statistic with the understanding that every relationship is different.
"No-one has the 'average' relationship, and nothing is 'normal', it is whatever works for each couple. However, the big milestones, meeting parents, moving in and having a baby seem to reflect what we expect in terms of order, but timescales vary wildly.”
