Good looking, smooth as silk, and silver-tongued, Mike is the resident ladykiller. He's had more girlfriends than he's had hot dinners, which can cause a few problems when a few of them are in his immediate circle of friends. With a narcissistic streak, there's no denying that he likes the attention that comes with being the man who stands up and can get things done.

Described ingame as intelligent, determined, and persuasive, Mike is known among the survivors for being promiscuous, and seems to "love women" despite his hate for commitment, and is very popular with them. He is a man of action, and is usually the first to volunteer and make suggestions, and dreams of being the president.

Mike, like the other Lodge Survivors, is a resident of Los Angeles, California.

Nature-loving Sam is a warm and caring individual. The others might find her a little quirky, but she's comfortable in her own skin. She is strong willed and doesn't scare easily. The weekend away is a chance for Sam to catch up with friends, enjoy the mountain air, and put the past behind her. She is a resident of Los Angeles, California along with the other Lodge Survivors as well as Hannah and Beth.

Sam is described in game as diligent, considerate, and adventurous. She seems to be the most level-headed and friendly member of the group and is rarely the cause of drama. Sam is a warm and caring individual, and cares deeply about her friends and their feelings, especially Hannah after the prank they pulled on her. She is a nature enthusiast with a love for animals, and dreams of becoming a conservationist. She has a disdain for violence and conflict, but will not shy away from fighting in order to save herself or her friends. Highly resourceful and resilient, Sam demonstrates remarkable calmness and decisiveness when under pressure.

She is played by actress Hayden Panettiere.

Ashley is a smart cookie. She's often found in the library, studying away with her nose in a book. After spending a lot of time with her study-partner Chris, Ashley wonders if he's interested in her as more than just a friend, but she soon snaps out of it - Chris would never ask her out anyway.

Ashley is described in-game as academic, inquisitive and forthright. She dislikes horror movies and dreams of being an author.

While Ashley did partake in the prank against Hannah Washington, she had the least involvement of the pranksters, being a mere onlooker. She can be repentant about participating in the prank if the player so chooses, but she can also be dismissive and lay the blame with Hannah, claiming she overreacted.

Ashley is shown to be very observant, yet she is also easily scared due to her wild imagination. As the night progresses, she becomes increasingly panicky, freaked out by the seemingly supernatural events taking place.

Her overactive imagination means that she's jumpier than a paranoid kangaroo. She's not a fan of scary anything.

She is played by actress Galadriel Stineman.

Emily is described in game as intelligent, resourceful, and convincing. She has a quick tongue and sharp wit, and is known in the group for her withering put-downs. She mentions that she has a 4.0 GPA during an argument with Jessica. During the prologue, Emily is very compliant in the prank against Hannah. She and Mike stand behind Jessica while she argues with Sam about the prank. Emily dreams of being a magazine style editor, has a passion for fashion, and dislikes not getting her way in situations. Despite her adamant personality she shows a weak side when in danger and feels the need to be protected and will only protect herself if needed. However, when she is alone she shows courage and resourcefulness. She shows a deep remorse for the deaths of Beth and Hannah.

Emily is well-known within the group for her withering put-downs, but that does mean that she can come across as a bit of a bitch. Emily is currently dating Matt, but only because she's rebounding pretty hard after Mike dumped her a few weeks back.

Always immaculately dressed, Emily prizes her appearance very highly. She believes that good taste is everything, and isn't afraid of dropping serious cash on clothes, and making sure that everyone knows about it.

Along with the other Lodge Survivors, she is a resident of Los Angeles, California.

Matt is the high school's star linebacker, but he isn't necessarily the sharpest tool in the box. He's hoping for a sports scholarship to a top college, because his GPA isn't going to cut the mustard. He mostly plays the part of the big friendly giant - but when Matt sees red, it's best to stay out of his way.

Matt is fiercely loyal to his new girlfriend, Emily, maybe even too loyal. Their relationship could be described as being a little one-way: when Emily says something, Matt does it. However, one could tell that Emily loves Matt as well, especially in one of her ending cut scenes, when her worries for Matt come out.

Matt is described in-game as motivated, ambitious and athletic. He's the second youngest in the group and he's fiercely loyal to Emily, though their relationship can be quite one sided at times. He's not the sharpest tool in the shed, but has a huge heart but knows when to stay out of the way of situations. He dreams of being a linebacker and is a massive sports fan, and dislikes Emily's shopping trips. Dr. Alan Hill describes Matt being "such a good guy" in the group if the player claimed to like him the least during one of the sessions.

Chris is a big lover of gadgets, and seems to spend half of his life looking at his phone. He's never short of an app that can do this, that or the other. He is very affable, even if his nerdiness puts some of the others off, and he comes equipped with a seemingly endless supply of dad jokes.

He's loyal, analytical, and doesn't scare too easily. Chris spends a lot of time with Ashley. They're very close friends, but Chris would like her to be even closer.

Described as methodical, protective, and humorous, Chris's three highest base traits are charitable, funny, and curious. He is also the calmest out of the survivors. He's very affable, and has a witty sense of humor which can be off-putting to his friends. He's analytical, not one to believe in the occult and isn't easily scared.

Chris is also a lover of gadgets, and can't go long without looking at his phone screen. He dreams of being an app designer, loves technology and can't stand a place without Internet access.

He is played by actor Noah Fleiss.

A beautiful bottle-blonde with a mischievous nature, fun is Jessica's raison d'être. First on the guest list at any party, if there's one thing she's not, it's shy. Her fun-loving nature has certainly managed to turn Mike's head - he dumped Emily in order to get with her.

A childhood ballerina, Jessica once wanted to be a cheerleader, until she realized that it was going to be quite a lot of work.

Described in the game as confident, trusting and irreverent, Jessica is a typical provocative young woman, who is quite brash in personality and dreams of being a model. Jessica is typically laid back, flirty and playful, constantly giving nicknames and acting immature. However, once provoked, she can be quite defensive and fierce. She does seem to care deeply for animals, being shocked and upset after killing a bird and seeing the mauled deer.

She is very open about her sexuality, flaunting the fact that she'll have intercourse with Mike, her boyfriend. Jessica reveals that she uses her seductive skills as a shield from her insecurities.

She is played by actress Meaghan Martin.

Josh is the first child of movie mogul Bob Washington and his wife, Melinda. He along with his family would frequently travel to the family lodge located on Blackwood Mountain during the Summer and Winter seasons. As he got older, his father became too busy to hang out with him, which brought him and his sisters closer together.

Josh is described as thoughtful, loving and complex. Josh's interactions with the other survivors tend to be humorous. He cares for his friends, acts as a brotherly figure to Chris, and likes to make sure everyone has a good time. He shows affection towards Sam. His dreams of following his father's footsteps in becoming a film producer makes him very knowledgeable about special effects and movie props. He constantly uses phrases and words from movies.
