Putin Dominates Obama In UN General Assembly Speech

Russia's Vladimir Putin returned to the UN for the 1st time in 10 years, basically proposing a coup against American global leadership, and trying to take control of a coalition that would ideally take the battle against ISIS away from America's grip.

American leaders tend to dominate the stage at the annual global meeting, but not this year. Obama's speech was largely defensive and focused on trying to prove the other world leaders of his competency.

Putin harshly condemned Obama for his unilateralism and interventions in the Middle-East

"Do you realize what you've done?" he asked, in regards to the power vacuum he believes America has created that has fostered "extremists and terrorists."

Putin proposed new strategies to fight ISIS in Syria, where his real aim could be to hinder rebels against the Assad regime and thwart any US aspirations in the region.

After mocking Republicans for bringing back "Cold War" rhetoric, Obama sure did his share of antagonizing Putin, although he ended up weaker than ever.
