The Kalamazoo Public Safety Officers arrived on the scene just after midnight, where they discovered that the baby was "crowning" and ready to come out.
Soon after, they helped the woman deliver a healthy baby boy and escorted the new mom to the local hospital for examination.
In a statement afterwards, the Kalamazoo Public Safety department gave their best wishes to the new family and offered congratulations on the birth of the little boy.
