Terror and Panic in Borough Market
As Richard Angell sat down to dinner with his friends in Borough Market in London on Saturday night, he had no idea what was to come.
At approximately 10:08 P.M., a trio of armed assailants, riding in a van, would mow down pedestrians on London Bridge. Then, they would enter Borough Market on foot, carrying weapons.
The restaurant where Angell was dining was in the midst of the carnage.
"We haven't given the staff a tip, and they looked out for us when the should have been helping themselves."
Angell's plan to return to Arabica is both an act of defiance and a gesture of gratitude to the wait staff who helped keep patrons safe.
He recalled one of the waiters shoving his body against the restaurant's door while other staff scrambled to find the key to lock it.
"This wonderful young man, one of the waiters, put himself, his foot and his body, behind the door, big glass door, to stop it shut while they found the key."

Angell says he will continue to enjoy life in London, where democracy and equality are stronger than ever
When he visits Arabica again, Angell plans to order the same meal he couldn't finish on Saturday night.
"It was lovely food and I want the rest of my main course," he said.
"Small-minded, cowardly, evil people should not change our way life. They won’t make me scared on the streets of London."
