What Bastille Song Is Your Life?

You've certainly experienced some stuff. Both "Good Grief" and "Warmth" are upbeat songs from Bastille's album "Wild World", but I know your life probably hasn't been so "upbeat" all of the time, but you've remained positive. Sometimes you look at the world today and say, "Good grief!" There's no need to fake it. Sometimes the world can be so cold that a little warmth is all you need. Keep being positive and the happy ending you deserve will come to you.

"Pompeii" and "bad_news" are songs with good messages. It may seem like they are in no relation, but that's exactly why this song relates to you. You can be sociopathic sometimes, admit it. Even though the walls keep tumbling down all around you, you remain strong. Even though others may see you as two-faced, the truth is that you've seen stuff and you know how to survive. Snakes are biting at your heels; they're the worries that refuse to let you go, but there's still hope for change. Once you succumb to the ways the world is SUPPOSED to work, you won't be so cold-hearted and others will see that too. Be the lesser of two evils. There's glory in every warm-hearted action you do, even though there may not be immediate recognition. Be patient and wait for the great clouds from above and the dust to settle, and there will be no more bad news.

You are an adventurous spirit. "Of the Night" and "Haunt" are two songs about spirituality and letting lose. You enjoy being an extrovert, but you've experienced severe pain from someone that you really loved. Weather that be a breakup or something even more intricate, you've started to crack. Even though you have your adventures and you try covering up the pain, your soul is starting to surface and you're getting ready to explode. You should let things out every once in a while. Talk to a loved one, a counselor, or even start a journal. No matter what you do, memories will come back to haunt you. Sometimes the best way to let things out is through music, writing, or art. Make your own rhythm of the night and let it all out. Also remember, there is most likely someone who secretly is in love with you.

"Laura Palmer" and "The Draw" are very deep songs, just like any other songs from Bastille. They are all very up-close and personal with the song writers themselves. You are a very ornate person as well. Your maturity level is above your age level, and because of this, you can fall into depression easily. It is rare to find someone who perceives things as you do. As a result of depression, you may have suicidal thoughts. Stop and think about everything. Have you found your purpose? If not, it's not your time to go. Oblivion calls out your name naturally, you don't call for oblivion. Sometimes it may be hard to accept that you are not the dominant one in every situation because you are a natural leader and rebel. Sometimes all it takes is someone to listen to solve everything. You have a lot of potential. You are intellectual and spiritual and can exceed in the arts. Never give up and keep your hopes high no matter what.

"Flaws" and "Daniel in the Den" are both very amazing songs from Bastille's album "Bad Blood". Do you keep your flaws buried deep or do you wear them on your sleeve? Dig them out and finish what you've started. I'm sure that everyone will love the real you and you won't be felled in the night by the ones you think you love or thrown into the pit of lions such as the one portrayed in the Book of Daniel.

"Bad Blood" and "Weight of the Living (PT I and II)" are very heavy songs. Sometimes life can weigh you down, for the weight of living surely isn't as light as a feather. Sometimes you may think you have an albatross, but you only are cursed if you allow yourself to be cursed. You are only as vulnerable as you view yourself to be, but having an open mind isn't a bad idea. Drinking may seem to be the way out of your problems at points, but I think that having a clear mind makes things easier to sort out. Maybe you are going through a rough patch socially, mentally, emotionally, etc. There are a few solutions such as waiting it out, facing your problems, getting an outside opinion, and more. The bad blood will dry, I promise.

"Hangin'" and "Send Them Off!" are songs symbolic of being trapped. Desdemona might not be able to liberate you, but you can most certainly liberate yourself. Freedom from life will never be granted to you until oblivion calls out your name. Until then, there are no angels. "Demons" have infested your brain. In order to cast them out, you must ignore them and stop feeding them your insecurities. When you feed them, you're tying the noose tighter around your neck. You are put into every situation for reasons way beyond even my understanding. You mustn't lose sight of what's important to you, though. Light has a way of bursting through every sinister and seemingly opaque problem out there. Hope is key. The only way to get rid of your demons is to face your fears and solve your problems maturely and confidently.

"Things We Lost in the Fire" and "Laughter Lines" are songs about loss or potential loss. Maybe you have recently lost someone or something that you intently care about. Your laughter lines are disappearing with the things you've lost in the "fire". Don't let your hope and ambition burn just because you don't know what to say. It's true that it kicks you in the teeth when you're least expecting. It beats you black and blue before you see it coming and your fear sits on the surface just as oil on water. When all else fails, keep moving forward. You can't keep reliving the past because the future won't go on. You're not yourself; you've bathed in the past for way to long. It may be the winter of your youth, but you still have your whole life ahead of you. Stop being nostalgic and move on. Maybe the future will be better than the past. I know one thing for sure; there's only one way to find out: by seeing where life will take you. Never give up hope. The finish line is waiting for you at the center of the maze. You just have to find your way there. Never be afraid to ask for help along the way, and enjoy yourself.
