Fort Worth Community Bands Together to Support Julius Hatley

Hatley, a WWII veteran, has won the hearts of local people in Fort Worth after police officers and Home Depot helped to replace his window unit.

Officers William Margolis and Christopher Weir said a local HVAC provider has agreed to fix Hatley's central unit for free. They're also working on getting Hatley's house repainted.

"He's 95-years-old and he's a World War II veteran," Margolis said. "He's a hero. In our eyes he's a hero."
