Alleen Has Sent 7,000 Letters in the Last Six Years
Just six years ago, Alleen decided to begin counting the letters she sends. In that time alone, she's sent over 7,000.
A Unique Letter Every Time
Alleen makes it a point to send a unique letter every time she writes. She also completes each letter by hand, often writing four pages or more to each soldier.
Since she began her letter writing, Alleen has received commendations, flags and video messages from the soldiers to whom she writes.
No Plans to Stop
Even though her hands get tired these day, Alleen says she plans to continue writing to the troops as long as she can.
