Throughout our lives our nails take a good beating! You might notice milky white spots appear under your nails. They don't hurt and they're usually harmless. The medical term is called leukonychia and the main type of cause of it is some type of injury to your nail matrix that occurs when your nails grow.
Alternatively they might be a result of a mild infection or allergies.
The only time you should worry is when they appear on every single nail and you haven't injured them in the past.
