Phil was checking some emails at the late depths of night. He, again, couldn't sleep and his camera was charging. He sipped some water out of a glass, well, to people it looked like a vase, when suddenly a loud rumbling noise emerged from the silence of the night. Phil looked up, trembling and slowly went back to business when the rumbling happened again, this time a flash was seen outside. Phil got up and ran to Dan's room, opening his bedroom door.
"Dan, dan...." Phil said with uneasiness.
Dan woke up slowly and groaned. He turned over, only to see Phil glancing at his naked back.
"Lovely, what's wrong?" He asked softly, patting a spot next to his bed.
Phil sat down slowly, shivering. "Thunder.... Lightning...." He hugged Dan closely.
Dan hugged back, rubbing Phil's back. "Hey, how about you sleep with me for tonight.... And, maybe in the morning we can go get some coffee." He grinned. "Besides, we have a radio show to go to tomorrow anyway."
Phil grinned childishly. "Yes, please... Will you protect me from the thunderstorm, Dan?"
Dan nodded. "Of course, my dove..."
Phil fell asleep slowly with Dan's soft breathing, Dan following soon after. They both slept in a hugging position, Phil's head buried in Dan's chest. Dan's chin was placed on Phil's rough hair. They stayed like that for the rest of the night.
