A Bride Put An Amazing Positive Spin On A Canceled Wedding
It's the epitome of turning lemons into lemonade.
It's the epitome of turning lemons into lemonade.
When Jenna Yorkovich broke up with her fiancee mere weeks before her wedding date, she realized that a few of her deposits were nonrefundable.
She decided rather than mourn the loss of that money, she'd turn it into something better.
Yorkovich currently works at a children's hospital in Minneapolis and hopes to be a pediatric nurse, so it just made sense that she would use that money as an event for the Ronald McDonald House.
The 23-year-old used her money to create an event for the volunteers that help make the Ronald McDonald House what it is, a space that provides a home for the children and families who need it.
Those who make the House a bright spot in others' lives got to have a bright spot in theirs thanks to this event.
